Mr. Tate serves as the Regional Vice President overseeing the Eagle Ford Shale Operations with 25 years of experience in the downstream and upstream oilfield industries. From 2010 to 2016 Mr. Tate has served as a Regional VP over Permian, MidCon, Gulf Coast, and Eagle Ford. From 2004 to 2010 Mr. Tate started and grew the StaRComm product line of Stallion throughout all basins Stallion services. Prior to that, Mr. Tate served from 1989 to 2003 as a Career Industrial Fire Fighter for Refinery Terminal Fire Company. Duties of this position included Refinery/Petrochemical fire protection, Occupational Safety Support, Industrial Hygiene, High Angle/Confined Space Rescue, Medical, and Hazmat. Within this time he was promoted to Fire Captain in 1993 and served the rest of his Career in that position. In 1995 he became a Chief Instructor with Roco Rescue teaching High Angle and Confined Space Rescue all over the country while maintaining a Career position with Refinery Terminal Fire Company.
Mr. Tate completed an Occupational Safety and Health program at Del-Mar College. Throughout his Career, he obtained several certifications from Texas A&M, Lamar, and the State of Texas. Mr. Tate served as Volunteer Fire Fighter in his community from 1988 to 1993. In 2007 Mr. Tate became a Board member serving as Secretary/Treasurer for Nueces County Emergency Services District #1. In this position, he participated in making decisions to support training, equipment, personnel, and facilities to improve all emergency services including the activation of several ambulances. He continues to serve this position for his local community.
